I love this place! I've been "dying" to try it out, and it didn't disappoint. The atmosphere is so fun! I loved all the decorations and unique things they have for sale, but my favourite was definitely the coffin table. The owner was so nice, made my boyfriend and I feel very welcome, and wasn't afraid to have actual conversations with us! I had the Winchester iced latte, my boyfriend had the Rigor Tortoise Iced latte, and we shared the lemon cranberry skull muffin and the Cranberry scone. Everything was delicious!!! Thank you so much for the pleasant experience! We'll be back soon :)
I have never felt more in a safe space than at Dark and Deadly Cafe, where my coffee-obsessed, horror-loving, spooky self feels at home. Truly the kindest, most caring owners and staff, whom pour their passion for everything that goes bump in the night into the best (and most clever) brews. They have tons of sugar-free and dairy-free options to suit everyone’s dietary needs. They are a hidden gem in the community and deserve all the support.
Great for horror fans! Laid back and welcoming. The owners are super down to earth nice people! If I lived closer, I'd be in there often!
I got the jeepers creepers ice latte and a skull blueberry muffin. Both were really good and the vibe in there was really cool
Such a cool place! If you love horror movies and great people this is the place for you. There is so much to look at and enjoy, you could really spend hours here. The Jaws drink was so good but the real reason to visit is the workers, they are so nice and fun to chat with about horror movies. This place is one of the coolest little finds in Carleton Place easily!
What a fun place for coffee. Took my teenage daughters there for a treat and a coffee. Loved the decor with the coffin table etc. We watched part of a scary movie that was playing on a big screen tv, and then played a spooky board game. The coffee was very good and my girls enjoyed their spooky face donuts with blood red jam inside. Staff were great too.We drove from Ottawa to go to Deadly Grounds and it was well worth the drive.
Stopped in during the late afternoon. Was quiet but the owners were amazing to chat with. Got an iced latte recommended by the owner and it was soooo good! The marshmallow fluff ghosts were a cute touch. Brought home a recommended ground coffee for home brew and it didn't disappoint. I will be back! Thank you!
